Many times the color and quality of the glass are the best ways to identify reproductions.  Some colors may be similar, but being informed is one's best defense.  There are many books on the market that are very helpful in identifying  glass and are well worth your investment.  Even logos and paper labels may not be true.  Some reproductions will have the WG or Westmoreland written in a circle.
